Someone in the rain.
I'd love to stand in the rain naked.
And I love the sound of rain on umbrellas.
And I like the word drizzle.
That's about all I can say about why I painted this. : P
Fantastic use of colour - it really seems to radiate from it.
Also love the way you've expressed the rain, and the reflection of light from the body.
Only thing I'm not sure about is the shoulders - they seem a little big for a "she" as you write in your Artist's Comments... I just assumed it was a male before I read that. But that's just me being picky.
Really do love this piece though.
REALLY fantastic color choices! The gold you achieved with the highlights is exceptional really. And with the red/blue background making a visual purple, you have a beautiful compliment as well. It reminds me of a rainstreaked glass actually...like we're behind the glass looking out at this gal who's in the rain: it's a nice effect really. The shoulders do seem a bit wide, however, even that, if you don't mind a heavier female form can be fixed by widening the hips: they slim down considerably at the middle of the leg. But again, not a major problem though. Overall another very strong piece: have to mention the exceptional colors again.
